A very good guest house, the owner was very helpful and took pride in her home. Nothing was too much trouble for her she really cared that you would enjoy your stay. If you enjoy warm warm and traditional hospitality this is the place for you. |

I loved the staff, very informative and helpful to our every need, was able to put up with a bunch of guys on a ski trip! The only thing that was difficult was trying to find it and parking, even with a GPS it was somewhat hard to find especially in the dark! |

Hotel was immaculate, beautifully clean & all facilities were no-fuss. Breakfast was great & staff were wonderful. A little hard to find first, but worth the effort. |

The room was extremely clean & very comfortable. The staff, or really the family, were very pleasant & extremely helpful. We speak very little German but found that it was not an issue. Hotel offered a good breakfast & beer, soda, coffee were available at any time for an extremely reasonable price and on the honor system. We would stay there again & recommend to anyone. Price was a slightly higher than some but it was during Octoberfest week & there was some other major conferences in town so, all in all, I guess it was reasonable. |

It is a charming and beautiful Gastehaus located just a few minutes walk from the town center. We stayed in a family suite that was very suitable for us and our 14 y/o daughter. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would stay her again should I be lucky enough for a return visit to Garmisch! |

Frau Thier was the best innkeeper we met during our travels. Her network among local restauranteurs and retailers was outstanding so she was always very helpful to recommend the perfect restaurant or shop for our family needs. And she kept our sense of value in mind, and helped us avoid tourist traps. If there was a way to vote for "Innkeeper of the Year" I would vote for Manuela Thier. |
